Fabrication
The core of the metal fabrication skilled trade is the production of metal objects from component pieces according to blueprints. Often the component pieces will also have to be produced first before the finished part is built up. Fabricators are often skilled in adjacent trades, including welding, pipe fitting, machine operation and metal finishing.
